In a repeat of this year’s USSSA National Boys Football championship semi-final tie, St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende and Amus College School are up for another meeting in this year’s FEASSA final.

Defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende beat Musingu of Kenya to storm the boys football final of the 21st edition of the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games.

Kitende squeezed past a resilient Kenya’s Musingu High School with a slim 1-0 victory.  The all important goal by Farooq Tumwesigye in the 68th minute was enough for record Champions to reach final.

Meanwhile, Amus College School registered a 2-0 win over a ten man Bukedea Comprehensive School at Mbale City Stadium.

Davis Busulwa and Ijosiga Mudasir were on target for co-host Amus College as they won against a physical neighbor to set a final date with Kitende.

The final showdown is on this  Monday morning , August 26th, 2024, at Amus College – Bukedea at 11am

The two sides meet early this year during the USSSA National Boys’ Soccer Championship in Masaka.

Kitende faced a setback, losing to Amus College School in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.
