Frank Akankwasa scored the 1st century in the top flight smacking 130 off 161 deliveries as Challengers picked up their 1st win of the season against a helpless SKLPS.

Despite picking up two early wickets, it was a long day in the sun for SKLPS as Challengers middle order made them work their lungs out with Zepha Arinaitwe (62) also scoring a half century.

Cosmas Kyewuta (5/21) shut out the lights with the ball as Challengers won by 265 runs.

In Lugogo, Fortunate Alijuma (93) was seven runs short of his 1st and Nyakasura’s second century of the season as Nyakasura picked up their second win of the season against Jinja SSS.

A great contest from the school teams with Nyakasura the more experienced taking all match points to sail in victory.

Pascal Murungi (50) and his World Cup teammate Joseph Baguma (4/11) made notable contributions for Nyakasura on the day.

In Kyambogo, Derrick Bakunzi (69) led the young agile Aziz Damani Development side to their second consecutive win as a big team effort with the bat, helping them pile on a big total.

Premier went down without a fight at the hands of the U-19 stars Yunus Sowobi (4/24) and Munir Ismail (3/31) doing the business with the ball all day.
