MUBS announced their intentions with a flawless 5-0 thrashing of Kyambogo University, setting the benchmark high in a sport that graduated from demonstration status to full medal contention this year.

The ruthless trio of Remmy Katende, Jalaludin Batte, and Ivan Mwesigwa led the charge, winning all their frames and completing the whitewash without conceding a point.

“This was the perfect way to begin. Everyone played with confidence. Our goal at these Games is to win the historic first gold,” said Captain Jalaludin Batte, hinting at MUBS’ ambitious plans.
