Vipers SC secured a convincing 3-0 victory over URA FC at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, on Saturday, propelling them to the top of the Uganda Premier League table.

Karim Watambala’s brace and a Gusto Mulongo strike sealed the win for Vipers, who are now eyeing a successive third title.

Watambala’s powerful effort in the opening minute set the tone for the match, and Mulongo’s delightful finish 10 minutes later doubled Vipers’ lead.

Watambala’s second goal, a curling shot into the bottom corner, put the icing on the cake.

This win takes Vipers to 30 points, while URA FC remains 15th with 11 points.

Vipers’ strong performance was marked by their dominance on the front foot, with Usama Arafat’s curling effort bouncing off the frame in the 19th minute.
