The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games 2 has reached an exciting stage, with the Netball tournament advancing to the quarterfinals in Tororo municipality.

After a series of intense matches in the rounds of 32 and 16, the top teams have emerged, setting the stage for thrilling quarterfinal showdowns.

Quarterfinal Matchups

The quarterfinal matches promise to be electrifying, with the following teams facing off:

– St. Mary’s Kitende vs. Bakhita S.S

– Namagabi S.S vs. Hamdan Islamic

– Madina Islamic vs. St. Noa Girls Zana

– Green Light Islamic vs. Buddo Sec School

Round of 16 Results

In the round of 16 matches, reigning champions St. Mary’s Kitende outshot Blessed Sacrament Kimanya 33-17, while Buddo S.S dominated Arua Public 30-17.

St. Noa Girls Zana edged Nile Citizen 23-15, and Greenlight Islamic overcame Ngando SS 25-19.

Other notable results include Namagabi SS’s narrow win over Kawanda S.S (25-24) and Hamdan Islamic’s convincing victory over St. Francis Busunju (25-18).

USSSA Ball Games 2: A Diverse Range of Sports

The USSSA Ball Games II feature a diverse range of sports, including Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Football (U-15 and U-16), Lacrosse, Athletics, Cross-Country, Ludo, Basketball (3X3 and U15 5X5), Chess, Scrabble, Futsal, Baseball, and Softball.

The games will climax on Friday, July 18th, 2025.

Classification Matches Continue

While the quarterfinal matches are set to take place, the rest of the classification matches will continue to be played at the various courts to determine the respective positions.

The competition is heating up, and teams are giving their all to secure a spot in the semifinals.
