After their last Uganda Premier League 4-0 win against Onduparaka FC, Vipers SC will make a short trip to the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday to take on Express FC, aiming maximum points to keep tittle defence chase tight.

The Kitende based side heads into the Tuesday tie knowing that a victory could have them at the summit with 26 points, pending results from other matches on the day’s menu card.

Since 2012, have had an absolute dominion over The Red Eagles having met the  19 times in the topflight.

The venoms have since registered nine victories over three from Express FC, as seven have ended in stalemates including the most recent two-all draw last season at Wankulukuku.

This will will be the 34th meeting between the two sides in Uganda’s top league history since 2006 when the Venoms joined the top flight division.

An overall 15 wins for Vipers SC, drawn 11 and 7 losses with a return of 41 goals against 23 have been witnessed from the ties.
