FUFA competitions disciplinary panel suspends URA’s Ndahiro

Relying on the referee’s match report, the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has suspended URA FC’s left back Derrick Ndahiro for two Uganda Premier League games.

The decision comes after a dramatic goalless Startimes Uganda Premier League match 73 which was between URA FC and Blacks Power FC.

The goalless draw played on Friday 2nd December 2022 at Nakisunga Ssaza Ground Mukono in which the referee’s match report points at Derrick Ndahiiro to have abused the 2nd assistant referee Isa Masembe using offensive language and insulting words was mixed with numerous dramatic scenes that saw a rise of tempers from different parties.

 

“After the match, player No. 13 Derrick Ndahiro abused the 2nd assistant referee using offensive language and insulting words.

The Competitions Disciplinary panel therefore suspends Ndahiiro Derrick for two competition matches effective immediately as of 12th December 2022.

 The management of the club is directed to ensure implementation of the above sanction or it will suffer the consequences of fielding ineligible persons”.

The said game ended in a goalless stalemate.

Ndahiro will miss SC Villa tie on 17th at Nakisunga and a tricky visit to Gaddafi FC on 20th December at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.
