StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL), has confirmed Saturday, 29th June  as the awarding ceremony day to outstanding players and coaches from the just concluded season.

 

The ceremony for the 2023/24 SUPL end of season Pilsner Awards will be held at Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Fourteen categories including the Player of the Season, Top Goal Scorer of the Season, Young Player of the Season (Below age 21 years), Goalkeeper of the Season (Clean Sheet), Defender of the Season, Midfielder of the Season, Coach of the Season, Most Assists of the Season, Fair Play Team of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season (Club captains), Coaches’ Player of the Season (Head Coaches), Goal of the Season, Best XI of the Season, Platinum Award (UPL Board)

The selection and nomination process started on Thursday, June 13 and will run through to Friday, June 28, a day before the awards ceremony.

 

Determining the categories winners will be subjected to the public nomination from Thursday, June 13 to Thursday, June 20.

 

After the public nomination, the best five persons per selected category will be reviewed by a panel of experts including coaches, media, captains and ex-internationals.

 

The above will reduce the nominees to the best three for each category, who will again be subjected to an online vote on Friday, June 21.

Goalkeeper of the Season (Clean Sheet)

Defender of the Season (Public)

Midfielder of the Season (Public)

Coach of the Season (Public)

Most Assists of the Season

Fair Play Team of the Season

Players’ Player of the Season (Club captains)

Coaches’ Player of the Season (Head Coaches)

Goal of the Season (Public)

Best XI of the Season (Public)

Platinum Award (UPL Board)
