The victory extends Uganda’s impressive run in the tournament, underpinned by both attacking efficiency and defensive discipline.

From the group stages, the East Africans have looked purposeful, netting 10 goals while conceding just once—a statistic that underscores their balance across the pitch.

Their campaign has featured standout performances, including a commanding 6-0 triumph over the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a clinical 3-0 win against Morocco.

They also held hosts Zimbabwe to a 1-1 draw in the tournament’s opening fixture, setting the tone for a consistent and composed showing throughout.
