The semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup have been set following a draw conducted at Serena Hotel in Kampala on Monday.

The competition’s last four teams will face off in two intriguing matchups.

KCCA FC, who shared the top spot with another team in the joint competition, will take on Kataka FC, the team that eliminated Police FC.

Meanwhile, Vipers SC will clash with defending champions Kitara FC.

In the quarterfinals, KCCA FC secured their spot with a 2-1 win over Kaaro Karungi, while Kataka FC advanced by defeating Police FC.

Vipers SC made their way to the semifinals by ousting nine-time winners SC Villa, and Kitara FC overcame BUL FC in a dramatic match at Butema Royal Park.

The semifinals will be played over two legs, with the first leg scheduled for May 3rd and 4th, and the second leg set for May 17th and 18th.

Kitara FC are the reigning champions, having won the title last year with a 1-0 victory over NEC FC in the final held at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
