Sports Club Villa forward, Bashir Mutanda is just inches away from putting pen on paper of one year employment contract to work with Mbarara City, Nim Media understands.

According to reliable sources, the former Vipers SC striker Bashir Mutanda is already in Mbarara to complete his one year move to the Brian Ssenyondo coached side.

As I speak now, he [Bashir Mutanda] is in Mbarara, soon or later he is finalizing his move to Mbarara City.” Source revealed to this website.

The 24-year old forward been an instrumental pillar at Villa Park Fri the past two seasons.

Mutanda began his career with Buikwe Red Stars in 2012 before joining Vipers ‘ Junior side in 2014 .

In 2015 ,Mutanda graduated to the Vipers SC ‘s senior side but failed to command a berth in the Venoms starting side hence moving on a loan spell at Kirinya Jinja SS ( Busoga United FC )in 2017.

In 2018 ,the forward linked up with SC Villa on a free contract netting 13 goals in his first season with the Jogoos but has of late been struggling with recurrent injuries .
