The historical event was held at the Old Kampala Sports Arena complex, were the new federation offices are.

The newly elected netball president Hon. Sarah Babirye Kityo vowed to put focus onto professionalizing the game, corporate sponsorship, creating a firm secretariat and accountability for the federation funds and assets.
