Malida Kuteesa’s first half strike against Mawogola in added minutes was enough for the 2019 finalists Busiro to book a place in this edition’s Masaza Cup tournament semifinals.

Malida Kuteesa’s goal came at the end of the first stanza as his side Busiro overcame resilient Mawogola in a 1-0 victory to become the first team to reach semifinals.

Busiro led the Bulange group with ten points in four game to make grade to Quarterfinals in this ongoing edition.

Busiro’s Journey
In the group stage, Busiro beat Buvuma 7-0, Busujju 2-1, Buwekula 3-1 and a 1-all draw against Kyaggwe.

Bulemezi is the reigning champion as Gomba stands out the most successful team in the tourney history with four trophies.

The tournament which started on 12th December 2020 at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru will climax on Saturday, 23rd January 2012 at the same venue.
