She Corporate have surged to the summit of the FUFA Women Super League table after edging Olila High School 1-0 in a tightly contested encounter on Saturday in Soroti.

The decisive moment arrived in the 74th minute when Maureen Nankinga struck to separate the sides, sealing a crucial victory that lifts the Sharks to 47 points.

The result places them two points clear of second-placed Kawempe Muslim, who face Makerere University on Sunday with the chance to reclaim top spot.

It was another demonstration of She Corporate’s resilience this season. Time and again, they have found ways to grind out results, often in the latter stages, underlining a title charge built on persistence and mental strength.

With just three matches remaining, the pressure now shifts to Kawempe Muslim, who must secure maximum points away to Makerere to stay firmly in control of their destiny.

She Corporate, meanwhile, will look to maintain their momentum in a demanding run-in.

Their remaining fixtures include a home clash against St. Noa, a tricky away visit to Uganda Martyrs, and a final-day showdown against She Maroons.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga boosted their top-four ambitions with a convincing 3-0 victory over already relegated Asubo Ladies.

Goals from Sharon Kanyiginya, Shallon Nabowa, and Angel Auki Kigongo secured the win, lifting Lubaga to fourth place on 28 points.

League action continues on Sunday with three fixtures lined up.

Makerere University host Kawempe Muslim, Kampala Queens face Amus College, while Rines SS take on Lady Doves in what promises to be another pivotal day in the title race.
