The race for Kampala Zone supremacy has reached its decisive phase, with Kibuli SS, Kazo Hill College, Lubiri Secondary School and Kawempe Muslim SS powering into the semifinals after hard-fought quarterfinal victories that underlined their championship credentials.

Kawempe Muslim SS maintained their composure to edge Buziga Islamic Institute 1-0, while Lubiri SS produced a late surge to dispatch Uganda Martyrs SS 2-0 in a tightly contested encounter.

Their persistence eventually paid off, with Abui Malith Arop emerging as the difference-maker to seal a crucial win and extend their impressive run in the competition.
