Other key members have left KampalaQueens. In the most recent departure, Ronald Mutebi has left his role as club doctor after over eight years of dedicated service, this website has learned.

According to reliable sources, Mutebi’s departure is confirmed, marking another significant change within the club.

Via his X account, Mutebi posted a touching message that reads:

Little did I know that my last game was against Rines. Working with Kampala Queens FC has been an incredible experience. But I pray to God to keep me strong during these trying moments.”

Followed by:

“Leaving this world may seem like the best option, but I struggle to hold on.”

He later added:

“Some people will be happy, while others will be touched. However, I feel like I should leave this world behind. Stay well.”

This development follows the recent exit of head coach Charles Ayiekoh, who parted ways with the club on Thursday, November 31, 2024.

His assistant coach Ali Zzinda, fitness coach Juma Sekiziyivu, and statistician John Kasozi also left the club.

The club has swiftly moved to appoint Haile Gabriel as the new head coach, with Sharon Kizza serving as his assistant. Haile’s official unveiling is imminent.

Renowned for his exceptional expertise and loyalty, Dr. Mutebi has been one of the standout doctors in women’s football.

Emmanuel Nakabago is reportedly set to succeed Mutebi as the club’s new doctor.

Currently, Kampala Queens FC sits second in the table with 9 points, trailing leaders Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC by four points.
