Sylvia Kabene scored a brace against Royal Dreamers to guide St. Noa Girls Football Club to a second straight win in the 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Elite league.

The game that ended in a 2-0 win was played at the Bushenyi Grounds in Western Uganda on Sunday, the 3rd November.

Kabene sent the visitors in a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute after a sole drive through the park to hit an empty net after rounding off the goalie.

In 35 minutes, Kabene complete her brace when she slotted the ball in the lower corner off a Mary Ayugi through ball.

The win becomes St. Noa GFC’s second in two. St. Noa now tops Elizabeth group with six points.

In the process, St. Noa have scored three goals and conceded zero after match day two.

Next weekend, St. Noa GFC will lock horns with UCU Lady Cardinals on Friday the 8th November at Kabojja while Royal Dreamers will visit Isra Soccer Academy at Highland SS Kisasi the same day.

Royal Dreamers have suffered their second defeat in a row. They lost 2-0 to Kawempe Muslim Jr. Team in the opener.

Meanwhile, UCU Lady Cardinals beat Kawempe Jr. Team 2-0 while Asubo Ladies FC lost 1-0 to Highway Ladies FC in Mbale.

She Kasese recovered from their first 1-0 defeat to Kawempe to win Isra Soccer Academy by 1-0 in Kasese.
