A compelling rivalry will once again take centre stage as Rines Secondary School and St. Noa Girls’ Secondary School – Zana prepare to clash in the final of the USSSA Wakiso Zone Girls Football Tournament.
This year’s decider, scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, will mark the fourth consecutive meeting between the two sides at this stage—an extraordinary sequence that underscores their dominance in the zone.
Notably, St. Noa Girls’ SS have emerged victorious in all three previous finals, setting the stage for Rines to attempt a long-awaited breakthrough.
Both teams advanced to the final in emphatic fashion. Rines Secondary School secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Light High School Seguku in the semi-finals, with Zuena Nandago delivering a standout performance by scoring twice, while captain Patricia Nakato added the third.
Their route to the last four had been equally eventful. In the quarter-finals, Rines edged London College – Nansana 3-2 in a tightly contested encounter, courtesy of goals from Zuena Nandago, Trina Nakawuki, and Kautharah Olayo, while Faith Namuli and Aisha Namwanjje found the net for London College.
Earlier, Rines had announced their title credentials in emphatic style with an 8-0 demolition of RYDA Secondary School in the round of 16.
On the other side, St. Noa Girls’ Secondary School – Zana have maintained their aura of dominance as reigning Wakiso, National, and East African champions.
They cruised past Boston High School – Entebbe with a 3-0 semi-final victory, powered by a brace from Teddy Namata and a goal from Patricia Nayiga.

In the quarter-finals, St. Noa dispatched neighbors Standard High School – Zzana 3-0, with Hawa Babirye, Teddy Namata, and Patricia Nayiga all on target.
Their campaign had begun with a walkover in the round of 16 against Trinity College Nabbingo following their opponents’ no-show.
With history, form, and pride all on the line, the stage is perfectly set for another high-stakes encounter between two of Wakiso’s most formidable sides.
For St. Noa, it is an opportunity to extend an already impressive dominance; for Rines, it is a chance to finally rewrite the script.
