Basketball 3X3: Buddo SS, St. Noa Girls, Kitende, Nabisunsa into quarter-finals

Uganda’s basketball finest St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende, Buddo SS and Nabisunsa are among the eight teams who reached the last eight stage of the USSSA Ball Games II championship.

The other four include Seroma Christian High School, Kibuli SS, Iganga SS and Mbogo Mixed.

Kitende, St. Noa, Buddo and Seroma led their respective Groups unbeaten winning five in five.

In the quarter-finals, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana will face Iganga SS who finished second in group C.

St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende will take on Mbogo Mixed. Mbogo finished second in group B behind leaders Seroma Christian High School.

The third quarter-final will be between Group C leaders Buddo SS and Group D runners up Nabisunsa Girls.

Meanwhile, Group B leaders Seroma Christian High will entertain group A second placed Kibuli SS.

The quarter and semi-finals will be held tomorrow, the 16th July 2024 at Teso College Aleot in Soroti.

The final will be held on Wednesday, the 17th at the same venue.

The Semi finalists will qualify for the 2024 FEASSSA Games set for next month at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School in Bukedea.
