The 2025 Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) Games Netball Championship has reached the quarter-final stage, promising intense battles as teams vie for a spot in the semi-finals.

The stage is set for a thrilling morning of netball at Uganda Christian University (UCU), with four quarter-final duels lined up for action.

The early fixtures pit Nkumba University against Makerere University Business School (MUBS) at 9:10 am, followed by Kampala University taking on Bugema University.

Kampala University, who topped Group B with six points, will look to maintain their winning streak against Bugema, who qualified as second-placed team in the group.

Kampala University emerged as the standout performers during the group stage, registering flawless wins in all three matches, amassing an impressive 156 goals while conceding a mere 43.

They are closely trailed by hosts Uganda Christian University (UCU), who similarly swept their group stage matches, scoring 140 goals and conceding a paltry 40.

The other quarter-final fixtures feature defending champions Victoria University facing Makerere University, and St. Lawrence University taking on hosts Uganda Christian University (UCU).

UCU, who topped Group C with a flawless record, will be looking to leverage their home advantage against St. Lawrence.

The tournament, which kicked off on December 18, will conclude on Tuesday, December 23. The quarter-final fixtures are:

The winners will progress to the semi-finals tomorrow evening, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the championship.

4. St. Lawrence University vs UCU
