St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende have beaten St. Henry’s College Kitovu 4-2 in penalties to win the 2023 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) boys football.

It was 1-1 after 90 minutes as the teams came to be separated by penalties.

Faizal Tumwine sent St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende into an early 1-0 lead shortly after first half kick off.

 

Later on, goals poacher Allan Oyirwoth levelled matters with a stunning hard strike to bring the score to 1-1.

St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende beat St. Henry’s College-Kitovu 2-1 to reach the final.

Faizal Tumwine scored a brace for Kitende whilst Ronald Mutasiga netted for Kitovu.

Amus College School Bukedea eliminated defending champions Kibuli SS.

Amus slimly won by 1-0 against Kibuli SS in another epic semi-final held at Huye Stadium.

Allan Oyirwoth scored the sole goal to send his tally to nine (11). He’s the leading goals scorer of the tournament with 11 goals.

This was Amus College’s first final, coming on their debut season against record champions who are also the reigning champions.
