St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana 1-2 Wiyeta (Kenya)

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and Kenya’s Wiyeta will face off in this year’s Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) girls football final.

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School eliminated National champions Amus College School-Bukedea by 2-1 in the semi-final reach this year’s final.

Defender Samalie Nakachwa and Hadijjah Babirye scored for Kawempe Muslim whilst Zabinah Nambozo got one for Amus College.

Meanwhile, Wiyeta labored for a perfect revenge with a 2-1 win against reigning champions St. Girls Secondary School-Zana in the semi-final.

St. Noa beat Wiyeta 2-1 in last year’s final in Arusha, Tanzania to win their maiden trophy.

Sylvia Kabene sent the reigning champions into the lead in the opening minute of the game.

Shortly after six minutes, Wiyeta through Melitus Muchera equalized before Wadera Doreen sealed the victory in the dieing minutes of the game.
