KCCA Netball Club reclaimed top spot in the Uganda Netball Super League on Saturday after a commanding 59-35 victory over Posta Netball Club at Nakivubo.
The emphatic triumph on September 5 lifted KCCA to 12 points from six matches, restoring their position at the summit on goal difference ahead of Prisons Netball Club, with NIC Netball Club third.
KCCA delivered a consistently dominant display, taking control from the opening quarter and never relinquishing their advantage.
They led 16-10 at the end of the first quarter before extending the margin to 29-18 at half-time.
The league leaders continued to pull away after the break, establishing a 44-28 advantage in the third quarter before completing the rout at 59-35.
The result also preserved KCCA’s unbeaten start to the campaign.
They remain among only three women’s clubs—alongside Prisons and NIC—to have won all their matches so far without dropping a point.
Elsewhere, Uganda Christian University (UCU) secured a 45-31 victory over Busia Greater Lions, while Weyonje produced an impressive 56-44 win over Busia Greater Lions.
In the men’s division, WOB Netball Club registered the day’s biggest victory, dismantling International Netball Club 80-15.
SMASH also enjoyed a comfortable outing, defeating Patriot 50-37, while Legacy Netball Club edged Red Star 47-43 in a closely contested encounter.
The women’s lower division produced a balanced contest as Kiboga recorded one victory and one draw from their two fixtures.
They defeated Kawempe Pride 54-38 before being held to a 39-39 draw by ALISHA Netball Club.
