Hakiramu Muzanyi scored a brace and a goal from Gabriel Eragu to inspire holders Buleemezi to a 3-1 quarterfinal victory against youthful Busujju at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Monday, 18th January 2021.

Bulemeezi took an early lead through Gabriel Eragu in the 7th minute of play as his side settled for a 1-0 first half win.

Hakiramu Muzanyi later in the 75th and 79th minutes scored a brace to seal Bulemeezi’s 3-1 victory to ensure a semifinal slot. Shafiq Kakande got Busujju’s consolation in the 84th minute.

Bulemeezi made the grade to quarterfinals through Butikiro group as leaders with seven points in four games.

In the group, Bulemeezi drew 1-1 with Butambala, thumped Ssingo 4-0, won Buluuli 2-1 and climaxed the group with 0-0 score against runners up Mawogola.

The 2012 and 2019 champions have joined last year’s finalists Busiro at the semifinals who eliminated Mawogola by 1-0 in the first quarterfinal.

The tournament which started on 12th December 2020 will end on 23rd January 2021 at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
