Ahead of their 2026 Airtel Masaza Cup opener against reigning champions Buwekula on Saturday, 13th June in Mubende, Kyaddondo Ssaza have officially unveiled a well-balanced 31-man squad.

The unveiling ceremony took place on Thursday afternoon, 28th May, at Santana Grounds in Wampeewo, Gayaza.

It was presided over by team chairperson Nicholas Lubwama, popularly known as “Yesu Afaayo,” representing the County Chief, Hajji Ahmed Magandazi, who later joined the event.

As part of preparations, the team was subjected to a competitive friendly match against last season’s semi-finalists, Kyaggwe, offering the technical bench an early assessment of squad cohesion and tactical readiness.

Kyaddondo’s squad reflects a deliberate blend of youth and experience, signaling both immediate competitiveness and long-term ambition.

The team will embark on their campaign with a challenging trip to Mubende, where they face defending champions Buwekula in what promises to be a high-stakes opener.

The side will be under the stewardship of head coach Bright Nyanzi, who will be assisted by Denis Kiyimba, Mustafah Kayinda, and Mukiibi Isma as first, second, and third assistants respectively.

The backroom staff is further strengthened by fitness coaches Francis Ssemakula, a former Busiro skipper, and Ibrahim Lutalo Yawe.

Ayub Destar Tsiiko serves as the team trainer, alongside Ramadhan Kato, while Frank Nduga assumes responsibility as team doctor.
