MUBS underlined their title ambitions with back-to-back victories, taking control of the early standings.

After a convincing 3-1 win over Kampala International University (KIU), they followed it up with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Lira University, courtesy of an early strike by Andrew Sempijja in the third minute.

MUBS also showed resilience in a 1-1 draw against Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), where Sudir Bin Said’s fifth-minute goal was cancelled out by Mumali Faizo’s penalty in the 52nd minute.

The result kept MUBS unbeaten, solidifying their position as early frontrunners.
