In the semi-finals, APR (Rwanda) dominated RRA (Rwanda) 3-0, while Police (Rwanda) edged KAVC B (Uganda) 3-1.

The match between KAVC and Police was a thrilling encounter, with KAVC losing the first two sets 26-24 and 25-20.

Although KAVC mounted a strong comeback to win the third set 25-27, Police sealed the win with a 25-23 victory in the fourth set.

APR, who will face Police in the final, demonstrated impressive form in their 3-0 win over RRA, taking the sets 25-15, 25-23, and 25-21.

Before the final, KAVC will play last year’s champions RRA in a third-place classification tie.

The winner of the women’s category will receive a cash prize of 10 million Uganda shillings, courtesy of NSSF, while the second and third-place teams will take home 8 million and 5 million shillings, respectively.

The final match is scheduled to take place this afternoon at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

This year’s tournament featured 48 teams from five countries, including Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda, competing in three categories: clubs, corporate, and primary schools.

With its rich history dating back to 1995, the NSSF KAVC International Volleyball Championship continues to be a premier volleyball event in the region, promoting healthy lifestyles and positive behavior through sports.
