The National Social Security Fund’s (NSSF) increased sponsorship package of 120 million Uganda shillings has significantly impacted the NSSF KAVC International Volleyball Championship.

This substantial investment has enabled the tournament organizers to offer a total prize money of 46 million shillings, a notable increase from previous years.

The increased funding has had a profound impact on the tournament, allowing for higher Prize Money.

The winners in both men’s and women’s categories will receive 10 million shillings each, while the first and second runners-up will take home 7 million and 5 million shillings, respectively.

The tournament has attracted 48 teams from five countries, including Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda, competing in three categories: Clubs, corporate, and primary schools in both men’s and women’s divisions.

The increased funding has enabled the organizers to provide a better tournament experience for the participants, including improved facilities and amenities.

NSSF’s continued support for the tournament demonstrates its commitment to promoting volleyball in Uganda.

As the lead sponsor for the past 16 years, NSSF has played a significant role in nurturing local talent and providing a platform for athletes to showcase their skills.

The increased sponsorship package is a testament to the fund’s dedication to elevating the sport and promoting healthy lifestyles through sports.
