Kayunga District is gearing up to host the 2025 Uganda Primary Schools Sports Association (UPSSA) qualifiers for the Federation of East Africa School Sports Association (FEASSA) Games.

The National championship and regional qualifiers will take place from July 7th to 14th at Ndeeba Church of Uganda Primary School, with Namagabi and Bishop Brown Primary School serving as co-host.

The tournament will feature top primary school teams from across Uganda competing in football, netball, volleyball, and handball.

The top performers will earn the chance to represent Uganda at the FEASSA Games, scheduled for August in Kakamega, Kenya.

The FEASSA Games will bring together primary and secondary school teams from six East African countries, including Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, and South Sudan.

Uganda aims to build on last year’s strong performance, where it won nine gold medals in the primary school category.

With preparations underway, all eyes are on Kayunga to deliver successful school sports event that showcase Uganda’s young athletic talent.
