Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC has emerged victorious in their semifinal encounter against St Noa Girls, securing a spot in the FUFA Women’s Cup final.

The valley warriors won the second leg 2-1 at Kyabaggu Stadium, adding to their 1-0 advantage from the first leg.

St Noa Girls took an early lead through Slyvia Kabene’s 8th-minute goal, but Kawempe’s determination paid off when Jovia Nakagolo equalized in the 75th minute.

Just four minutes later, Agnes Nabukenya sealed the win for Kawempe, giving them a 3-1 aggregate victory.

In the other semifinal, Amus College advanced to the final after drawing 1-1 with Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC in the second leg. Having won the first leg 3-1, Amus College progressed with a 4-1 aggregate score.

The stage is now set for an exciting final matchup between Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Amus College, as both teams vie for the coveted FUFA Women’s Cup title.
