The fourth season of the Uganda Boxing Champions League is poised to electrify Club Obligato this Saturday night, with over 25 fights scheduled to take place.

In the lead-up to the event, participating boxers underwent rigorous medical check-ups and weigh-ins at the venue earlier on, ensuring that all fighters are fit and meet the competition’s stringent standards.

The main event of the evening promises to be a thrilling grudge match between Tumusiime Nerrick and Mutaasa Ashraf in the 71kg category.

The highly anticipated bout, set for five intense rounds, will pit two fierce rivals against each other, with both fighters seeking to prove their superiority.

Mutaasa, from Kibuli, is determined to avenge his loss to Tumusiime in their previous encounter last season, and fans can expect a high-stakes clash when the two boxers meet under the lights at Club Obligato.

In addition to the headline bout, several other exciting matches are scheduled to take place.

East Coast Boxing Club’s Kasim Mulungi will face off against Lukanga’s Leon Kiggundu in a thrilling encounter.

Henry Kimuli of Mutajjazi and Nakawa Boxing Club’s Mukiibi Bashir are also set to clash in a highly anticipated bout.

Newcomer Farahat Manirola, a dynamic and talented fighter, will make his Champions League debut against Julius Kaddu, having recently transitioned from professional ranks.

Other notable matches include Reagan Magumba vs. Patrick Ambayo and James Japyem vs. Ocen Samuel.

With so much at stake, Saturday’s event promises to be an unforgettable night of boxing action.
