The stage is set for an thrilling finale in the 2025 Kabaka Cup tournament as Buddo SS and Kawempe Muslim SS emerged victorious in their respective semi-final matches.

The final showdown is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 3:00 pm at Kawanda SS grounds.

In the first semi-final, Buddo SS, under the guidance of coach Richard Malinga, edged out St. Austin High School with a hard-fought 1-0 victory.

The decisive goal was scored by Umar Katamba, securing Buddo SS’s spot in the final.

Meanwhile, Kawempe Muslim SS dominated St. Andrew Kaggwa Gombe SS in the second semi-final, winning 3-0.

Parjek Gwethikuth, Rayan Ssekitoleko, and Alvin Kitibwa each found the back of the net for Kawempe Muslim SS, cementing their place in the final.

Notably, last year’s winners, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, failed to progress beyond the group stages.

Additionally, hosts Kawanda SS, who were the losing finalists in the previous edition, were eliminated by Buddo SS in the round of 16, suffering a 2-0 defeat.
