The stage is set for a thrilling finale in the 2025 Nabagereka Cup as defending champions Kawempe Muslim Secondary School face off with Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga in a repeat of last year’s final.

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School emerged victorious in the 2024 final, defeating Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga 3-0, with goals from Agnes Nabukenya, Monica Nanono, and Moreen Kizza.

To reach this year’s final, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School dominated Trinity College Nabbingo in the semi-finals, securing a resounding 5-0 victory.

The goal scorers for Kawempe Muslim were Promise Kwagalakwe, Tracy Nabalanzi, Monica Nanono, Dorcus Kisakye, and Mebel Adong.

Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, on the other hand, edged out Rayan Islamic Girls School 1-0 in their semi-final match.

The decisive goal was scored by Rayan Islamic’s Daniella Nakato, who unfortunately netted the ball into her own goal, securing Uganda Martyrs’ spot in the final.

In another exciting development, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School will also face Buddo SS in the Kabaka Cup final, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown in both competitions.
