Police FC hosts Maroons FC today, Thursday, in Kavumba, in matchday thirteen of the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The hosts will be seeking back-to-back home victories, while the visitors will be hunting a win to get back to winning ways.

In their previous games, Police FC came from behind to force a 1-1 draw with SC Villa, while Maroons FC suffered a 0-4 loss to Kitara FC at home.

However, Maroons FC had an impressive 0-3 away win over Mbarara City in their last outing, while Police FC beat Wakiso Giants 2-1 in their previous home game.

The two teams have faced each other four times, with Maroons FC winning once and the remaining matches ending in stalemates. A total of 15 goals have been scored in these encounters.

A victory for Police FC will see them rise to fourth position with 20 points, provided URA FC fails to beat Lugazi FC.

For Maroons FC, a win will propel them to fifth place if URA FC loses, but if URA FC wins, Maroons FC will move to sixth position.

Police FC will be without head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa, who is attending a CAF A coaching course in Njeru.

Defender Reagan Matege is also doubtful for this encounter, but the rest of the squad is available for selection.

Maroons FC will also be missing their head coach, Muhammad Senfuma, and Darius Ojok, but the rest of their squad is available for selection.
