The Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) is set to conduct draws for the Futsal Uganda Cup 2024/25 Season.

The draws exercise will be live on all the digital platforms of the association this Monday morning, the 16th September at 9am.

18 teams including six non league sides will be drawn to battle it out in the knockout tournament.

Park are the defending champions of this prestigious tournament. They (Park) beat Luzira 8-6 in a thrilling final game last season which was played at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Abasi Muluya starred with a hat-trick before goals from Samuel Kalyango and Michael Abura added the other goals for the victors.

Luzira scored through the tournament top scorer Joel Ogwang (3), Derrick Walugembe (brace) and Samuel Omara

Park’s Samuel Kalyango was named as the tournament most valuable player with teammate Brian Drileba as the best goalkeeper.

Luzira’s Joel Ogwang netted a total of 14 goals in varying fashion and style to take home the golden boot.

Luzira Thunders, Dream Team and Yeak Kabowa are the other teams that have won this competition in past seasons.

The tournament is to kick off on Friday, the 27th September 2024 at Old Kampala Arena.
