Four female bouts, nineteen in total for weekend two of Boxing Champions League

Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) have lined up nineteen (19) fights for weekend two of the Boxing Champions League slated for this Saturday, the 8th June 2024 at New Club Obligato.

After the weigh in and medical checks, all is set for boxers to face off in yet another boxing thrilling night .

A lightweight bout between Ibrahim Kemis of Mutajazzi Boxing club and Brian Ssekyejwe (Kololo) will be the main fight.

Out of the 19 fights, four are girls contests. UPDF’s Zakia Mundu will face off with Nadia Nantumbwe (Brawn) in the light fly weight (50kgs) under the Junior category.

The second female bout will be between Peninnah Amoding of Nagawa Boxing Club and Lazira Nakagira of Brawn Boxing Club.

This will be a Flyweight (52kgs) bout of the Youth category.

The most interesting female bout will see a Zebra Boxing Club’s Jalia Nali and Brenda Muduwa lock horns.

This will be the Elite Bantamweight (54Kgs) clash.

In another Bantamweight female bout clash under the Youths, Roy Kisakye (KCCA) will lock horns with Evelyn Kalungi of Lukanga Boxing Club.

In addition, lots of surprise entertainers from the performing arts sector will spice up the event.
