2024 USSSA Elite Games draws held ahead of kick off

The 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association Elite Games are set to get underway at host schools Jinja SS and Jinja College in Jinja City.

The teams arrival at the host schools is today Wednesday the 24th January 2024 and screening of players shall be on Thursday morning, the 25th at Jinja Secondary School.

Ahead of teams arrival, the draws for boys football and fixtures were released in the afternoon.

Defending champions Standard High School-Zana were pitted in group B alongside newbies Bukedea Comprehensive, Lakeside SS, JIPRA and Westville.

Group A is composed of 2017 Copa Coca-Cola champions Jinja SS, Jinja College, Amus College and Kawempe Muslim.

Girls football attracted only seven teams and they will play a round Robbin format.

Day one’s menu card shall have three fixtures as Bukedea Comprehensive School play the tournament opener against the host Jinja SS, Kawempe Muslim and St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana face off with Bon Concili in the day’s last tie.
