The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) qualifiers of Aggrey Zone have reached a thrilling stage, with Zana Mixed Secondary School and Standard High School-Zzana (STAHIZA) emerging as two of the top contenders.

Both teams have demonstrated exceptional skill and prowess, securing impressive victories in the quarter-finals.

Zana Mixed Secondary School registered a resounding 7-1 win over Aggrey Memorial, with Ibra Kazungu scoring a hat-trick, Jonathan Sanya netting a brace, and Ronnie Jakisa adding a goal, while an own goal sealed the opponent’s fate.

Meanwhile, STAHIZA convincingly defeated Lubugumu Jamia 5-0, with Benon Lutaaya scoring a brace, and Emmanuel Ambayo, Derrick Rwothomio, and Mansoor Kintu each contributing a goal.

The other quarter-final matches saw Aidan College edging out Agro-Links Academy 1-0, while Ndejje SS triumphed over St. Miriam 3-0.

The semi-finals promise to be intense, with Ndejje SS set to face off against STAHIZA in a rematch of their recent Kabaka Cup encounter, which Ndejje SS won 3-1 in penalties after a goalless draw in normal time.

In the second semi-final, Zana Mixed Secondary School will challenge defending champions Aidan College.

The matches will take place at Lufuka Playground tomorrow, Friday, 28th March, with the first game starting at 2pm, followed by the second at 4pm.
