The Kitara Women regional league club, Western Panther confirms eight new recruits ahead of competitive 2020/21 season.

The side that finished in fourth position in the 2019/20 counselled season due to COVID-19 pandemic signed more eight players to strengthen the squad that will see them storming FUFA Women Elite League in a season.

The Wakandas almost considered all the departments from goalkeeping to striking and came on free transfers.

To add on their goals come next season, the Fort Portal Karambi Sub County based side, saw it important to strengthen their striking force with a duo in Ati Mariam who also can play as a supportive striker and a 14-year old Kamulu Shifah from Mpanga SS.

Kemigisa Maureen and Night Rosemary

The side also recruited a promising goalkeeper in Night Rosemary from Kagote Seed SS and defenders Kabasambu Evelyn (15-years old) and Kahunde Sylvia (left back) to reduce on the number the side conceded last season, in eleven games played, seven entered into their net.

Karungi Sarah a 13-year old midfielder from City Hill SS, Nyamata Jacqueline, midfielder from Mpanga SS, and Kemigisa Maureen are among the new recruits into the club.
