In a thrilling conclusion to the 2024/25 Uganda Cup, Vipers SC emerged victorious, defeating KCCA FC 2-0 at the newly-constructed FUFA Kadiba Stadium in Kampala.

The Plascon-sponsored Venoms, who had already secured the Uganda Premier League title, wasted no time in asserting their dominance, with Livingston Mulondo opening the scoring just four minutes into the game.

Mulondo’s goal set the tone for a tense and closely contested match, with KCCA FC responding with attacking intent.

However, Vipers’ defense held firm, and they doubled their lead in the 55th minute through Yunus Ssentamu’s clinical finish.
