It was a glorious day one at the ongoing Uganda Youth Football Associations (UYFA) U15 National League championship as teams started their long journeys to this year’s triumph.

Sky Sports and Volf Soccer Academy opened the day with a four goal thrilling draw.

The contest ended 2-2. Otim Timothy and Desire Lenon, whilst, Aronda Joshua and Ibrahim Mubiru scored for Sky Sports and Volf respectively.

The second game on the day’s log was between Kampala Galaxy and Soccer Stars.

It ended 1-1 after normal time. Abdu Razak Ssekimeanyi converted from the penalty mark to give Soccer Stars a 1-0 lead in the first stanza.

Late into the second half, Kampala Galaxy bounced back to life to score and equalizer. Sudais Lukwago netted the long waited equalizer to end the game in a 1-all draw.


In a very stunning style, Kampala Galaxy outshined Rays of Grace Academy in their second game to 2-0. Hamza Bukenya scored a brace in the tie.

However, Soccer Stars won their second engagement against Kasese Bronken by 1-0. Abdu Razak Ssekimeanyi bounced back to the score sheet with the winner to extend his tally to 2 goals.

In the third game, Rays of Grace won 2-0 against Friends of Football to produce the first win of the day.


Dissan Mwebe and Simon Wanyama the two goals for the Njeru based academy.
Meanwhile, Budondo and Super Heroes shared spoils in a 1-1 draw. Shakur Nabangi (Budondo) and Honest Opira (Super Heroes) scored for either sides.

Garuga And Paorihner shared the points in a 1-all draw. Toorach Charles scored for Paorihner whilst Lawrence Muwumuza netted for Garuga.
