USSSA National Boys Football: Buddo SS advances to round of 16 with convincing win

Buddo Secondary School has secured a spot in the round of 16 of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National boys football tournament, following a 3-0 win over Bugisu High School in the round of 32.

Owen Mukisa and Denis Kisambira scored the goals for Buddo SS, with Kisambira netting a brace.

In the round of 16, Buddo SS will face Wisdom Secondary School, who defeated Lagwai Seed SS 4-0.

Other notable results from the round of 32 include Kibuli SS’s 4-1 win over Buziga Islamic School, Kawempe Muslim’s 4-0 victory over Kisozi Seed, and St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende’s 3-0 win over Bishop Comboni College.

Several top teams were eliminated in the round of 32, including Amus College School, hosts Ngora High School, and Standard High School Zzana.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga advanced to the round of 16 with a 2-0 win over Standard High School Ndejje Campus.

The round of 16 fixtures will be played on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
