URA Football Club is thrilled to announce the acquisition of prolific forward Fred Amaku, who joins the Tax Collectors from Kitara FC on a two-year contract.

Amaku becomes the third addition to Coach Alex Isabirye’s squad in the ongoing transfer window, following the return of Kabon Living and goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima, also from Kitara FC.

Amaku is known for his sharp instincts in front of goal, intelligent movement, and relentless work ethic.

Across the last three Uganda Premier League seasons, he has been one of the most consistent attacking players in the country, featuring in 79 matches and netting 29 goals.

His impressive track record includes:

– 2022/23 – Maroons FC: 11 goals, 5 assists, and 3 Man of the Match awards

– 2023/24 – Maroons FC: 12 goals, 2 assists, and 5 Man of the Match awards

– 2024/25 – Kitara FC: 6 goals and 1 assist.

Upon signing, Amaku expressed his excitement about joining URA FC, saying, “Joining URA FC is a big step in my career and I’m truly excited for this new challenge.

My target is simple – hit double figures in goals, deliver important performances, and make the fans proud.”

The club believes Amaku’s arrival will boost its attacking depth and sharpen competition within the forward line, as URA FC targets a strong 2025/26 campaign both in the league and domestic cup competitions.

With Amaku’s proven goal-scoring ability and dedication, URA FC fans can expect big things from their new signing.
