The sixteen time league champions, Sports Club Villa put a stop at KCCA FC’s unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory in a match day four fixture honored at Bombo Barracks Playground on Tuesday.

Nicolas Kabonge and new signing Ronald Ssekiganda strikes earned Sports Club Villa second consecutive home win and ended KCCA’s unbeaten run.

Three minutes past half an hour into the game, Nicolas Kabonge gave the home side a lead and it’s the only goal thatvwas registered in the first stanza.

Inside the last five minutes of the game we saw both sides scoring under tense moments, but new signing Ronald Ssekiganda first doubled the Jogoos lead before the free scoring Brian Aheebwa came for a consolation in the 87th minute via a spot kick, two minutes after Ssekiganda’s goal.

Sports Club Villa registered their second win of the season in four fixtures moving to seven points.

The Kasasiro boys counted their first loss of the season.

In other games, on form Police FC convincingly beat struggling Busoga United 3-0 at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo, Derrick Kakooza, Ben Ocen and Nsubuga Mubarak.

After beating Sports Club Villa 2-1, URA FC, seems it has picked it’s form, today it has signed it it’s second consecutive win after humbling Bul FC 2-0 at Kyabazinga Stadium, Steven Mukwala alone enjoyed the day with 77th and 90+ minutes strikes.
