UPL: Police, Wakiso Giants Settle for a Draw

Police FC and Wakiso Giants have settled for a goalless draw in the Uganda Premier League tie held today, 4th December 2020 at Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

The first stanza ended goalless with Police’s Mubarak Nsubuga missing numerous would goals missing on converting superb three through balls from Frank Tumwesigye.

Wakiso Giant’s Yasin Mugume also missed a golden chance to hit an empty net when he failed to convert Edward Satulo’s pass.

Police faced a big blow as experience captain Tony Mawejje was stretched off shortly after his explicit rabona pass to Ruben Kimera.
Mawejje collided with gigantic defender Edward Satulo in air in the last minute of the first stanza.

The balance of power was showcased as Wakiso Giants bounced back into the game to force Police FC’s goalie Tom Ikara into numerous saves with Karim Ndugwa almost grabbing that important goal for the visitors.
