Two first-half goals from the home team saw them emerge victorious at Christ School Bundibugyo as the Uganda Cranes visited the town.

Ivan Onenchan scored the first goal in the 25th minute and Norman Namanya netted the second goal five minutes before the half-time whistle was blown.

At the start of the second half, the entire Uganda Cranes team that started the match was substituted but the various shots at goal did not yield fruit.

The Cranes now embark on preparations for 2023 AFCON qualifier match against Tanzania in Egypt.
The selected local based players will travel this Sunday to Cairo.

They will be joined by foreign based players.

Uganda will be targeting first victory as they take on Tanzania in Egypt.
