Transfer news: Mukandane parts ways with Mbarara City, Vipers targets Ssenjobe
Mbarara City FC skipper Hillary Mukundane has officially parted ways with the Mbarara based side after five years of service. Mbarara City FC skipper Hillary Mukundane has officially parted ways with the Mbarara based side after five years of service.

The defender confirmed his departure through his official twitter handle on Sunday night.

“Goodbye is the saddest word,” Mukundane tweeted.

Mukundane previously played for Kamoma FC in the Western Regional League in 2015 and Ntoda FC in 2016 before joining Mbarara City.

He then joined Mbarara City at the beginning of the 2016/17 season in the FUFA Big League.

He helped them gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League after knocking out Synergy FC 2-1 in the playoff final at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo.

His next destination is yet to be confirmed.

Elsewhere, Vipers SC are on the verge of completing the signing of Police FC defender Eric Senjobe.

According to reports, the two parties are in advanced negotiations and a deal is expected to be done soon.

Senjobe who can play as a center back, left-back and a midfielder is expected to be an important signing for the Venoms.
