Uganda Cranes International center back Murushid Juuko has understandably agreed a one year contract with the six-time Uganda Premier League winners Express Football Club after FIFA interfered in his move from Moroccan Botola giants Wydad Casablanca.

The ex SC. Victoria University and Simba SC defender recently missed out on the Cranes Dubai trip because of a lengthy time (over a year) from active football.

Juuko got misunderstandings with his former Moroccan bosses after a long period of no payment. However, Juuko’s close friends have noted that his character of being home sick some times contributed much to his fallout with Wydad Casablanca.

He joins a lengthy list of new recruits at Wankulukuku who include goal keepers Chrispus Kusiima and Denis Otiim, defenders Richard Bbosa and Denis Mugerwa, midfielders Abel Eturude, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Mahad Yahaya Kakooza, John Byamukama “aka” Toki, Francis Ssekyanzi, Baker Ssaka and Ibrahim Kayiwa and forwards Charles Musiige, Mustapha Kiraga and the newly unveiled skipper Enoch Walusimbi as coach Richard Wasswa Bbosa continues to beef up his squad ahead of next season.
