The Red Eagles picked up their first league win of the season against Wakiso Giants on Friday afternoon courtesy of Erick Kambale’s strike from 12 yards in the first half.

“Today’s win was a massive one, the boys knew from the word go that we had to defend home turf, also we needed this win to boost our confidence,” Bbosa said before adding.

“I believe we got our chance and scored and we also managed to keep a clean sheet so we’re going to back to correct our mistakes and do better in our next game against Onduparaka FC on Tuesday,” he added.

The win took the Red Eagles to 11 points after seven match days.
