Wakiso Giants FC head coach Alex Gitta was left frustrated by Wakiso Giants’ defeat at Express as he attributed it to missed chances and lack of sharpness in front of goal.

Express FC won 1-0 against Wakiso Giants in the game played at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Friday November 26th.

“The best team on the day didn’t win,” Gitta said.

“We deserved better given the performance but we need to work on our sharpness in the final third because we missed some good chances,” he added.

However, he was impressed with the overall performance of his boys and he targets a positive reaction in next game.

“But the league is more of a marathon where there are ups and downs and we shall bounce back.”

Gitta was also left amused by some refereeing decisions that he feels should have changed the tide of the game.

“They looked not to have a clear precise decision making and I beg their body to interest itself in the footage of the entire game for the betterment of the league,” he noted.

Wakiso Giants remained fourth on the log with 12 points from seven games played so far.
